FRIDAY 23 FEBRUARY – 8.30pm
The stallions entered in the Masters L’Éperon compete over a course of 5 to 8 obstacles adapted to their age category, from 1m to 1m20.
They are assessed by a committee of experts (Selle Français judges) according to 5 criteria: balance, locomotion and availability; strength and ability; style; blood, energy and intelligence; overall impression.
SATURDAY 24 FEBRUARY – 8pm
The GRAND MATCH BY REVERDY will be run individually, in 2 rounds over a course of 6 to 8 obstacles in a “nations cup” format.
The stallions will be divided into 3 categories: ponies (course at 1m20 and 1m25), horses aged 7 and 8 (course at 1m30 and 1m35) and horses aged 9 and over (course at 1m35 and 1m40).
Both rounds are run against the clock (no combination). In the event of a tie at the end of the two rounds, the stallions will be separated by a jump-off. Separate classifications will be drawn up for each category.
SPORTS BET
The Grand Match event is supported by a free competition in the form of a sports bet offering the chance to win studs from the winning stallions in the event.
To take part in the draw, players can choose a stallion they feel could win the event and slip a ticket into the dedicated box located at the general reception desk before the end of the inspection.
The winners will be drawn at the end of the event’s prize-giving ceremony.
The startlist is published on the general show programme.
