PROGRAM

SATURDAY 19 FEBRUARY – 8.15pm

The Grand Match is a team show jumping event open to horses aged 7 and over and to “Elite” ponies registered at the show.

This year, the Grand Match event will take place in 2 rounds on a course of 8 to 9 obstacles, in a “nations cup” format.
For the ponies, the first round will be 1m20 high and the second round 1m25 high. For the horses, the course will be the same with the first round at 1m25 and the second round at 1m30.
The two rounds are run on the A scale on the clock, without combination. The final team score is the sum of the scores of the three couples in the team. If two or more teams are tied at the end of the 2 rounds, 1 stallion per team will be chosen to participate in a jump-off.

SPORTS RACE
The Grand Match event is supported by a free competition in the form of a sports bet allowing the winner to win studs from the winning stallions of the event. To take part in the draw, the player must choose a single team that he/she believes can win and, before the start of the event, slip a ticket into the dedicated box located at the general reception. The draw will take place during the prize-giving ceremony, from the ballot boxes of the three winning teams.
